This blog is meant to be as much a journal for ourselves, as it is for our family and friends to follow us on this trip through parts of Canada, and the United States. We plan to spend about eight weeks on our trip.
Please excuse any errors or omissions or changes made mid-blog, as this is my first attempt at blogging.
So now it's a bit less than a week from the start of our summer road trip, and we're both very excited to get underway. We've been planning our route, and making hotel, and other, reservations, so that we're guaranteed a place to stay, and so we'll know where we'll be (sort of), on which day.
I've been collecting items that we'll need (want) to take with us, and the pile on my dresser is slowly growing. Rick got a new stereo installed in the car so we can take our 'tunes' on flash drives and be entertained with music.
We're taking Rick's Mustang, of course, as it's the perfect summer vehicle for road trips, being a convertible. I'll have to remember to dig out my cap so I don't burn my head...
Our trip will begin on May 2nd, from Nanaimo.
